Overview
The 501st Legion, renowned as the “Boys in Blue,” is a distinguished Infantry Division established during the increasing conflicts within a galaxy heading towards war. Led by the esteemed Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and the First Commander CC-7567 “Rex”, the 501st Clones are characterized by their fearlessness, bravery, and unwavering loyalty. Recognized for their unconventional tactics and recklessness on the battlefield, the 501st is considered by many in the High Ranks as the perfect force for a wide range of situations.
Organizational Structure
Currently, the 501st Legion is organized into two specialized Divisions: Torrent Company and Phalanx Company.
The Torrent Company
- Role: The main combative force of the 501st Legion, Torrent Company consists of elite clones who dominate the battlefield through their intelligence and experience.
- Weaponry: Torrent Company utilizes standard issue weapons, including the Z-6 Rotary Cannon and RPS-6 Launcher.
- Leadership: The first Company Captain is CO - 8888 “Storm”, overseeing the strategic and tactical operations of Torrent Company.
The Phalanx Company
- Role: Phalanx serves as the heavy vehicle and fire support division on the battlefield. Phalanx is responsible for reinforcing and supporting the main infantry during combat operations.
- Weaponry: Phalanx Company is equipped with standard issue weapons, alongside armored platforms such as AT-TE's, Juggernauts, etc.
- Leadership: The first Company Captain is CO-1025 “Redeye”, guiding Phalanx Company in their agile and rapid deployment across the battlefield.
The 501st Legion continues to play a pivotal role in the rising tensions in the Republic, with Torrent and Phalanx Companies complementing each other's strengths to ensure the success of their missions.
